Asiatic Lion cubs are treated by the veterinarian at the zoo in Magdeburg, Germany. Two young lions were separated from their mothers for a short time to get a medical checkup. The lions were inoculated and implanted a microchip. They were born on 13 May 2010 and by now weigh about 8 kilograms. The new blood for the endangered species of big cats, that can only be found wild in a reservation in India, is a big success
